Where It All Began…
Larry St. John opened his character-filled and inspiring showroom in 1998 with a simple belief: furniture should be built to last decades, with cushions that hold their shape and wood that stays true for generations. Quality wood furniture — no particle board, no mdf, no shortcuts.
Over the decades, that philosophy never changed. What grew was the collection, from a handful of dining tables, chairs and sofas, to over 13,000 square feet of living, dining, bedroom, office, and media furniture, handcrafted to each client's exact measurements to fit their space.
Today Larry St. John & Co. remains a family-run operation in Gardena, California. Our design staff has been with us for years, and many of our clients have been coming back for generations—furnishing their first apartment, then their family home, then their children's homes.
What We Stand For
Our Principles
High Quality Lumber
Every piece we sell is built from kiln dried wood — white oak, walnut, maple, cherry, alder, and more. We don't carry particle board, mdf, or engineered wood products.
Custom to Your Space
Any furniture style can be built to your exact dimensions, wood and finishes. We work with you from creation and sketch-ups to delivery.
